2021 Mercedes AMG GLE63 S

 
 

For this week’s review we’ve gotten our hands on the 2021 Mercedes GLE63S. It has a coupe like styling with a mild hybrid system.

ACCELERATION: 10/10

  • 4.0L V8 TT
    603HP / 627 lb-ft

  • EQ Boost 21 HP / 184 lb-ft

  • 9 speed automatic

  • 0-100km in 3.6 seconds

BRAKING: 9.5/10

  • 104ft to stop from 100 km to 0

HANDLING: 8.5/10

  • As far as high performance SUVs go, there are some options that will handle better but this is still a blast on windy roads.

RIDE: 8.5/10

  • Glides over road imperfections and has a bunch of off-road terrain drive modes

ECONOMY: 8/10

  • 15/19/17 MPG (City/Highway/Combined)

  • Has cylinder deactivation and electric motor

CABIN NOISE: 9/10

  • If you get the extra noise insulation package it makes it one of the quietest options for this segment.

EXTERIOR: 8.5/10

  • Very stylish and luxurious looking

INTERIOR FOR DRIVER: 9.5/10

  • Front seat comfort is excellent and front passenger seat has the same range of motion

  • Front seats are heated, ventilated and massaging

  • 3-position seat memory

INTERIOR FOR PASSENGERS: 8.5/10

  • The wider body makes it easier to fit 3 adults in the rear

  • Despite having a coupe like sloping roofline the rear passenger headroom is not too bad!

  • 40/20/40 folding seats makes it much easier to carry long items like skis while carrying 4 passengers

  • Red seatbelts for everyone

  • Lift back design to open the trunk

  • under the load floor has a spare tire

  • Has controls to lower the vehicle down to ake it easier to load cargo

OVERALL IMPRESSION OF THE 2021 Mercedes amg GLe63s:

The performance from the 2021 Mercedes Benz GLE63S is breath taking, a ton of fun and family practicilty. This will do things that you would think no SUVs can ever be able to do. This is the type of vehicle where you can it family, go to Home Depot and fit a BBQ inside while have bonkers performance.
