I highly recommend you getting bread made in house & coffee roasted by Monogram, a Calgary coffee roaster started by barista champion, Ben Put! Everything from the butter to the yogurt is made from scratch!

Taves Family Farm is great for the farm experience for those who love apples. They have all sorts of varieties to pick from. During October they also have pumpkin picking! Dion’s offers food that is healthy for people on the go! This was perfect after still being so full from our heavy breakfast. They offer a variety of salads, sandwiches and soup.
1:30 PM | Coffee at Oldhand Coffee
Oldhand Coffee is run by a husband and wife duo. It’s a cafe for locals to enjoy speciality coffee roasted in BC by Bows x Arrows. This is a great spot to unwind and catch up with friends over delicious coffee.
3:30 PM | Mead tasting at Campbell's Gold & Honey
Our last stop for the day is to visit Campbell’s Gold & Honey Meadery. They specialise in a variety of honey wines, including ancient mead, melomels (honey/fruit wines), pyment (honey/grape wine) and more. Our tasting starts with a tour of the farm to visit the beehives, and learn about how they raise, and protect the bees and harvesting the honey. On the farm they have a variety of flowers and fruits to produce different types of honey!
Inside the shop is where the mead tasting happens which is open to the public, and retail store selling honey and beeswax products. It is a sweeter wine with obvious aromas of honey. I like how it isn’t too sweet like ice wine and something I could enjoy any time. During our mead tasting we got a chance to try 5 different ones.
