Starbucks Taste of Craft
I was invited to attend a VIP Starbucks Canada event called Taste of Craft. It is a part event, part experience; highlighting those who are pushing the boundaries of their craft. Starbucks will also be launching their cold brew cycling program around the city! It's kind of like a bicycle version of a food truck serving up craft cold brew. You'll need to keep an eye on social media to see where to bicycle stand pops up in your city!

Also for my art and beer homies, my east coast home girl from Montreal, Ola Volo was there doing a live mural. She also created the wall murals and beer label design at Doan's Craft Brewing Company When I saw her drawing tonight, I had a feeling I've seen her artwork before!
Mister handcrafted salted caramel ice cream from scratch using nitrogen. They were served in a chocolate espresso shaped cup topped with a chocolate covered coffee bean. This was presented thoughtful. I liked how it came in an edible cup! I would have liked if the ice cream was espresso flavour using Starbucks coffee beans though.
The Cure Apothecary let us make a nitro scrub which consist of Nitro Starbucks Coffee, Carrier Oil, Charcoal, and Essential Oils as a take home gift. The base starts off with coffee and charcoal. They let us add the oils, mix and package it to bring home!
How to use: Mix approximately 1 tsp of coffee scrub with 1.5 tsp of water and gently rub onto face in small circular motions. Chill for 1-2 minutes and rinse.
Although advertised as a facial scrub you can use it on other parts of the body like your feet too! We haven't tried it yet but we are looking forward to it!
Visions Floral had a station for us to build our own terrarium for us as a take home gift! The base is coffee beans from Starbucks. They let us pick our stones, moss and plant to fill it with. They make for great accessories to decorate the home with and personally the smell of coffee is so stimulating! I leave one on my desk to keep me going as I write!

At the venue there was tons of balloons to mimic the look of nitro bubbles!
